Wage SubsidyThe Saint Mary's University Entrepreneurship Centre currently operates employability programs that can help you grow your business by providing access to funding to hire new employees
We provide a significant wage subsidy to employers to assist their hiring of priority youth in the Halifax Regional Municipality. We help employers cover the cost of training while helping priority youth (age 15-30) overcome multiple barriers to employment, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to make a successful transition to the labour market or return to school.
We provide wage subsidies to employers to assist their hiring of a recent graduate. Last year, we placed over 60 recent graduates in career related positions with small- and medium-sized enterprises.
