Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship Conference

FEBRUARY 19-21, 2019

The Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship Conference is an event held at Saint Mary’s University for students running or interested in running their own businesses. With its first conference held in 2015, Starting Point is pleased to be entering its fifth year. In celebration of the five year anniversary, we are bringing back our top-rated speakers and Master Class Instructors.

The purpose of the conference is to bring together students from across the country to share best practices, hear from amazing speakers, learn from experts in their field and potentially earn money for their businesses. We believe that engaging students in entrepreneurship unleashes their imagination, energy, capabilities and desire to learn.

This three-day entrepreneurship conference is home to many beneficial events for students including Keynotes, Master Classes, Funder Speed Dating, and the Iron Entrepreneur Tournament. This fun and educational conference is a great way for student entrepreneurs to gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their businesses.

Our theme “From Vision to Venture”, encourages and inspires students to bring their ideas to reality by giving them the confidence and tools to do so. Conference proceedings such as master classes, the iron entrepreneur competition and keynote speaker will focus on helping them to realize that vision and help them to bring it to fruition through actionable advice and inspiration.
